The European Commission provides the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform to find solutions to consumer problems.

The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “General Terms and Conditions”) is to set out the terms and conditions for access to, use of and operation of the Website www.bnpparibas.be by any user accessing it (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions, except those specifically mentioned in these General Terms and Conditions.

The information and material contained in this Website is solely intended to inform the people who view it about various financial, banking, insurance or other products and/or services offered and/or distributed by BNP Paribas, in Belgium.

This information and material do not aim to provide personal advice, including – but not limited to – advice on financial, tax, accounting or legal matters or on investments, even if this information relates to financial instruments which are publicly offered. ARTICLE 1: ACCESS TO/AVAILABILITY OF THE WEBSITE

The User acknowledges that they have the skills and means required to access and use the Website. You are reminded that there is no guarantee of secrecy of correspondence on the internet network and that it is the User’s responsibility to take all appropriate measures to protect their own data and their technical environment (in particular your computers, software, network equipment and any equipment used to access or use the service and/or information).

Not all products and services are available in all geographic areas. Your eligibility to access a product or service may be subject to approval by BNP Paribas, its relevant related companies or companies in the Group. Persons accessing, visiting or using this Website must satisfy themselves that the applicable laws of their own country allow them to access the information, or must refrain from accessing, visiting and/or using the Website accordingly.

Thus, BNP Paribas cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages linked to the use of the documents or information appearing on the Website. Users are reminded that it is a criminal offence to fraudulently access or maintain a connection to an IT system, to impair or interfere with the functioning of such a system or to fraudulently enter or alter information in an IT system.

BNP Paribas will use its best endeavours to maintain a reasonable level of operation and availability of the Website. This content is protected by copyright, trademark law and other intellectual property rights or related rights owned by BNP Paribas or its licensors, and may not be reproduced, used or represented without the express authorisation of BNP Paribas or its licensors, under penalty of legal action.

In particular, the User shall not modify, copy, reproduce, download, share, transmit, commercially exploit and/or distribute in any way whatsoever the content of the Website or any of its elements without the prior written authorisation of BNP Paribas on a case-by-case basis.

The User undertakes not to harm or attempt to harm the Website in any way and not to use software or any form of computer programme with the aim of accessing or making available protected content, making the Website unavailable, dismantling or decompiling the Website or any part thereof, or carrying out any reverse engineering operation, except in cases expressly allowed under applicable regulations.
